Climate change is one of the key issues affecting the world economy nowadays. The aim of this conference organized by LEO and dedicated to the "Economics of Climate Change and Environmental Policy" is to gather together scholars working on this topic, including both young and experienced researchers, professionals from central banks, government and non-governmental institutions. They are invited to submit both empirical and theoretical papers from all fields in Climate Change and Environmental Policy: financing climate change and financial stability, environment and development, energy and renewable energy, pollution, physical and transition risks, inclusive and just transition, international trade and environmental policies (non-exhaustive list).
Special sessions will be jointly organized with the Bank of Canada and Banque de France on related financial stability and monetary policy topics.
A special issue in Energy Economics will be organized following the conference.
